With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth L. McKone of Lawler, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simon and Ida Simon (Shores); her husband Jack McKone; her brothers, Frank and Kenny Simon; her niece Diane Simon; her great-nephew Daniel Fratzke (Danny); her parents-in-law, Chet and Annamae McKone; her siblings-in-law, Helen McKone, Regena Lindeman (George), Myrnie Corkery (John), John Corkery and George Lindeman; her nieces, Colleen Corkery and Patrica Lindeman; and her nephew Paul Lindeman.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie, Jim (Connie), Jenny Dosch (Steve) and Jess Powell (Lane); her grandchildren, Casey McKone (Jess), Madison McKone, Nicholas Powell, Joseph Dosch and John Dosch; her great grandchildren, Brecken and Benen McKone; and her brother Keith Simon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
