He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Reissner (Boetcher) and Louis Reissner; his wife Catharina Smits Reissner (Katie); and his siblings, Elsie and Cyril.
He is survived by: his daughter Martha Smits Reissner (Tina); his grandson George F Clancy III (Jeff); his great grandchild Robert Lewis Clancy; his nephew Thomas Reissner; and his nieces, Lynn Keller and Anne Murray.
