He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet McKone and Annamae McKone (Sheridan); his sisters, Helen McKone, Regena Lindeman (George) and Myrnie Corkery (John); his nieces, Colleen Corkery and Patrica Lindeman; his nephew Paul Lindeman; his parents-in-law, William and Ida Simon; his brother-in-law Frank Simon; his niece Diane Simon; and his great-nephew Daniel Fratzke (Danny).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Louise Simon; his children, Jackie, Jane, Jim (Connie), Jenny Dosch (Steve) and Jess Powell (Lane); his grandchildren, Casey McKone (Jess), Madison McKone, Nicholas Powell, Joseph Dosch and John Dosch; his great grandchild Brecken McKone; and his brother-in-law Keith Simon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
