He is survived by: his wife Jan of Laurens; his children, Steve Hersom (Ann) of Berthoud, CO, Susan Parker (Mark) of New Hartford, Rick Mason (Cindy) of Omaha, NE, Shannon Hersom (Sonja) of Ankeny, Rory Mason (Janelle) of Nevada and Sharon Foss of Winona, MN; his grandchildren, Calvin, Carl, Maddie, Carson, Elli, Serena, Jillian, Elijah, Kathryn, Cooper, Dylan, Paul, Broc, Cole and Magan; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Harvey.
He had a selfless love for the community, donated time, talents, knowledge, materials and equipment to many community endeavors.
