She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Richards and Lucille Richards (Hammons); her husband Keith Thompson; her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Susie Thompson; and her siblings, Carol, Sue and Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Don Thompson of Phoenix, AZ, Trisha Doss of Altoona and Nancy Goedert of Laurens. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mary's name to the Laurens Swimming Pool and the Laurens Public Library.
