He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Mackey and Loretta Mackey (O'Brien); and his siblings, Bill, John, Matt, Gene, Rich Mackey, Rose Kirsch, Harriet Goedert, Loretta Wolf and Pat Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lampman of Laurens; his daughters, Rhonda Mackey (Michael Hafner) of Letts, Ann DeLano of Coralville and Vicki Mackey of Fort Dodge; and his granddaughter Amanda DeLano of Coralville.
