She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parents, Clyde Powers and Ethel Powers; her sisters, Opal Harms (Monica) and Susan Nancarrow; and her parents-in-law, Jerry and Anna Sobotka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nanette Jean (Steven) of Sioux City and Joann Kinnetz (Al) of Laurens; her grandchildren, Missy Dicus, Brandi Mumma (Rob), Shawn Kinnetz (Ashton), Lacey Binkley (Troy), Blake Kinnetz (Amanda), BJ Koch (Kristin) and Adam Koch (Lori); her son Jerry Sobotka of Laurens; her grandchildren, John Sobotka (Angie) and Joleen Sernett (Steven); and her siblings, Monica Plantz (Bill) of Pocahontas, Robert Powers (Mona) and Kenny Powers (Denise) of Exira. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
