He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Evans and Nelta Evans (Freiberg); and his siblings, Tommy Evans, Jean Melloy and Colleen Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Maronde of Laurens; his sons, David Jr. Evans (Amber) of Laurens and James Evans (Sara) of Maple Grove, MN; and his siblings, Rolland Evans of Fridley, MN, Joyce Kortlever of St. Cloud, FL and Marilyn Olson of Shoreview, MN.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
