She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Edmonds and Ardis Edmonds (Oleson); her husband Donn Phillips; her daughter Linda Susan Phillips; her aunts, Esther and Helen Edmonds; and her brother William Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Phillips (Renee) of Laurens, Debra Liljedahl (David) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jane Rigby (Dennis) of Marion, IA; her sister Janet Convy of Milford, IA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cain (Brandon), Anne Jerred (Ryan), John Rigby and Mark Rigby; and her stepchildren, DeaDra Jeter (Mark), Carl Brent (Melissa) and Vanessa Harder (Henry). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church, any Veterans' organization or Humane Society of Iowa.
