He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Lubinus and Antje Lubinus (Heyen); his former wife Marlene "Olie" Cundiff; his children, John A. and Lori Jean; his brother Walter; and his stepson Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Benita Eberle; his daughter Kim Johnson (Lynn) of Albert City; his granddaughters, Becky and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Crystal and Brandon; his brothers, Elmer Lubinus (Norma) and John Lubinus (Lavina); his stepchildren, Kenneth Eberle (Nancy), Charles Eberle, Elaine Hussey (Duane), Richard Eberle (Erin) and Sharon Eberle GeBauer; and his stepgrandchildren, Dr. Andrea Eberle, Dr. Nicole Eberle, Dr. Nathan Eberle, Christina Eberle, Carrie Miller, Ryan Hussey, Chris Hussey, Joe Eberle, Cavan Eberle and Maureen Eberle.
