He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Carpenter of Laurens; his sons, Gary Shaw (Wanda) of Ankeny, David Shaw (Charlene) of Ankeny, Tom Shaw (Diana) of Laurens and Kevin Shaw (Maggie) of Lenoir City, TN; his daughter-in-law Debbie Shaw of Laurens; and his sister Velma Johnson of Emmetsburg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
