He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Smith and Wanda J. Smith (Sietmann); his uncle Larry Keese; and his pet Marley. He is survived by: his former spouse Chanel England; his significant other Debbie Dugan; his son Eli Smith of Knoxville; his siblings, Brenda Arnold (Jeff) of State Center and Brad Smith (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Dani Haskenhoff (Andrew), Tanner Arnold (Cydnie), Sacora and Zachary Smith; and his great-nieces, Lennon, Camden and Brecken Haskenhoff. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
