It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred E. Menning of Latimer, Iowa, born in Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kracht and Edna Kracht (Meyer); her husband Lester Menning; and her sister Elfrieda Pralle. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Rehberg (Walter) of Urbandale, Beverly Root (Leon) of Latimer and Allan Menning (Becky) of Hampton; her siblings, Matilda "Tillie" Nelsen of Hampton, Raymond Kracht of Dows and Marvin Kracht (Carole) of Hampton; her grandchildren, Kari Mundy (Allen), Tonya Root, Heather Hahn (Brian), Melissa Simmons (Chad) and Kacie Bonjour (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Aisha Booth (Jax), Erin Root, Aiden Zimmerman, Jonathan Simmons, Jessica Simmons, Camden Bonjour and Griffin Bonjour.
