We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2023, at the age of 101, Alice Caroline Schomburg of Latimer, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Borcherding and Emma Borcherding; and her husband Arnold. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Schomburg, Pearl Erenberger, Solon and David (Linda). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in her memory.

“We are very sorry for your loss. We were so please to make Alice's 100 Birthday Party and see so many of you. WE were also able to visit her the following winter on our way back from KC. I am sorry we will not be able to make the funeral. She was a wonderful lady, and a good Christian women. You all will have wonderful memories. My family so much enjoyed seeing her and Arnie at the Halfway picnic's in Cresco, IA, along with all our relatives. God Bless and be with you all. Jeff and JoLea Pralle”
