William R. Lewis Obituary
We bid farewell to William R. Lewis of Larchwood, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2025 at the age of 81. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Lewis and Lyle Lewis of Larchwood, Iowa.; his brothers, John Lewis, Raymond Lewis and Tom Lewis; and his grandson Kyle Madden.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Dominic (Jill) and Stanley Jason; his wife Charlotte Hermelbracht; his stepsons, Steve Hermelbracht and James Hermelbracht; his siblings, Ron Lewis, Jerry Lewis (Linda), Jim Lewis, Roger Lewis, Mary Kiley (Craig Peterson) and Sandy Millar (Denny); and his sister-in-law Arloa Lewis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roeder Mortuary - Gretna Chapel (11710 Standing Stone Dr, Gretna, NE 68028). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gretna United Methodist Church (11457 S 204th St, Gretna, NE 68028). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
