He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gacke and Irene Gacke (Wiegman); his wife Bonnie Gacke; his son Jim Gacke; and his siblings, Mary Cunningham, Joe Gacke, Esther McParland, Ethel, Cletus and Bernard Gacke.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Johns (Robert), Mark Gacke (Ronda), Cathy Anderson (Brian), Sheri Russell (Todd), Lyle Gacke (Angie) and Molly Holtz (Curt); his daughter-in-law Debbra (Jim); and his sister Barb Leighton (Jerry). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one step grandchild; four step-great-grandchildren.
