He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Garman and Hildegarde Garman; his siblings, Geraldine Wilcox and LeRoy Garman; his parents-in-law, Pete and Winnie Boscaljon; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Garman, Alan Alfredson, Pete, LaVonne Vande Velde, Milo and Wanda Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Marlis Garman; his siblings, Maynard Garman, Daniel Garman (Joyce), Eugene Garman (Maggie), Patrick Garman (Janice), Donna Alfredson and Debra Steinle (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Garman, Gloria Stewig and Duane Wilcox; and his uncle Bob Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Inwood Museum.
