She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Galles and Evelyn Galles (Ludwig); her husband John "Jack" Bontje; her siblings, Cleo Patch, Fred Galles and Joe Galles; and her grandson Jon Robert Haviland.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Bontje (Steph) of Tea, SD and Kristy Haviland (Larry) of Geneseo, IL; her daughter-in-law Deb Bontje of Beresford, SD; her granddaughter Nikki Hendrix (Cody) of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchildren, Colton and Marlee; her grandson Jason Bontje (Laura) of Overland Park, KS; her great grandchildren, Harrison and Hudson; her grandchild CJ Bontje of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchild Clairyssa; her grandson Christopher Bontje (Sadie) of Pueblo, CO; her great grandchildren, Taylor and Preslee; her granddaughter Kelli Haviland (Jaime) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Isabelle and Jack; her grandchildren, Lyndsy Haviland (Blake) of Atlanta, GA, Adam Haviland (Rachel) of Lindsborg, KS and Wyatt; her siblings, Clara Schreier of Dell Rapids, SD, Paul Galles and Ron Galles (Connie) of Remsen, IA; and her sister-in-law Lynn Galles (Joe) of Remsen, IA. She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
