It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Agnes Herbst (Larchwood, Iowa), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kerkvliet and Anna Kerkvliet (Lens); her husband John Herbst; her siblings, Gerald, Charles, John, Francis, Dina and Catherine; and her son-in-law James Stoos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn Weidler (John) of Howard, SD and Barbara Stoos of Sioux Falls, SD; her close friend Sandra Freed of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandsons, Donald Weidler (Betty) of Madison, SD and Dennis Weidler (Kathy) of Howard, SD; her great grandchildren, Laura Shannon (Randall) of Madison, SD, David Weidler of Madison, SD and Eric DeKam (Jennifer) of Madison, SD; and her great great grandchildren, Bentley Marie Shannon, Nevaeh Jo Shannon, Piper Jean Shannon, Quinn DeKam and Danny DeKam. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
