He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Jay Haviland (Stephanie) and Kristy Haviland (Larry); his daughter-in-law Deb Bontje of Beresford, SD; his grandchildren, Nikki Hendrix (Cody) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jason Bontje (Laura), Christopher Bontje (Sadie), Kelli Haviland (Jaime) of Houston, TX, Lyndsy Haviland of Atlanta, GA and Adam Haviland (Rachel) of Borger, TX.; his great grandchildren, Colton, Marlee, Harrison, Anthany, Clairyssa, Taylor and Isabelle; his siblings, Betty Gacke, Mary Ann Bjerke (Kermit), Shirley Vrooman, Sioux Falls and Donald Bontje of Janesville, WI; and his sister-in-law Ellen of Rock Rapids.
