He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Heath Ter Wee (Teryn) of Sioux City, IA, Luanne Todd (Darrell) of Spencer, IA, Peggy Ter Wee, Gina Zuercher (Jim), Jessica Conlin (Sean) and Angela Wilson (Matt) of Clive, IA; his siblings, Jerry Ter Wee (Mary) of Larchwood and Betty Leuthold (Jim) of Magnolia, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Kooima of Rock Valley, Jim Kooima (Margene) of Rock Valley, Gawin Kooima (Wanda) of Sioux Center, IA, Brian Kooima of Rock Valley, Faye Vande Stowe (Clarence) of Rock Valley and Karen Ter Wee of Inwood. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as 4 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; Irene's 5 children; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother and sister-in-law; 5 step-grandchildren; plus countless nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Inwood (102 S Main St, Inwood, IA 51240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church of Inwood (414 Oak St, Inwood, IA 51240).
