He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Bugay and Mary Ann Plendl (Gross); his grandparents, John and Rose Bugay; and his cousins, Paul and Russ Zywiec.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy; his wife Tina Bugay of Larchwood, IA; his children, Katherine Kassel (Nate) of Rock Rapids, IA, Sabrina R. Bugay of Webb City, IA, John M. Bugay of Sheldon, IA and Isabelle A. Bugay of Sibley, IA; his granddaughter Tessa Kassel; and his siblings, Mike Bugay (Melissa) of Bellevue, NE, Amy Jankowski (Nick) of Omaha, NE and Annie Bugay of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
