She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merle and Shirley Barthell (Nierling); her husband George Ferring; her children, Larry Ferring and Georgia Tobin; her grandsons, Ronnie Ferring and Danny Jo Kiley; and her brothers, Bill and James A. Barthell.
She is survived by: her pets, Siamese, Angel and Alfie; her daughters, Marie Snider (Jerry) of La Crosse, WI and Jackie Conrad (Tom) of La Crescent, MN; her grandchildren, Rick Ferring, Jeff Snider (Melissa), Jay Snider (Sara Moczynski), Donny Tobin (Danielle Meyer), Lindsy Conrad (Chris Dahl), Ryan Conrad (Meagan) and Ashly Valentine (Jantzen); her great grandchildren, Jack, Emerson, Charlotte, Gander, Graham, Griffin, Carson, Elijah, Elaina, Lydia, Lennon, Luka and McKenzie; and her sister Luella Hart of Cedar Rapids, IA..
