He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Roeder and Melita Roeder (Pottratz); and his wife Rita Roeder. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Joens (Michael Smith) of LaPorte City, IA and Robin Roeder (Bret Voss) of Ely, IA; his grandchildren, Johnny Joens, Emma Joens and Haley Ainesworth; his great grandchildren, Zy'aire and Ka'cyn; and his brothers, Richard Roeder (Mary) of Lansing, IA and Roger Roeder (Sheri) of Swisher, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
