She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Mullarkey and Mary Mullarkey (Brennan); her husband Francis Kernan; her sons, Bob Kernan and Bill Kernan; her sons-in-law, Al Wagner and Dave Clarkin; and her siblings, William Mullarkey, Evelyn Delaney, Marguerite Manning, Catherine Dowd and Leo Mullarkey.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Kernan (Mary Ann) of Winter, Jerry Kernan (Anne) of Stoddard, Marilyn Clarkin of Onalaska and Denny Kernan (Jami) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law Mary Kernan of Lansing, Iowa; and her siblings, Eleanor O'Neill of Waukon and Carl Mullarkey (Mona) of Wexford. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; many great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leonette's honor may be made to the ALS Association or an organization of your choice.
