She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard DeSart and Wanda DeSart (Vigil); her son Joshua; her father-in-law Mike Montes; her grandparents, Pete, Helen DeSart, Lupe and Wanda Vigil; and her brother-in-law Jim Compton.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Montes of Lanesboro, IA; her children, Ruthie Montes of Lanesboro, IA, Gracie Montes of Ames, IA and Jackson Montes of Lanesboro, IA; her sisters, Monica Johnson (Timmy) of Milliken, CO and April Sondgeroth (Mike) of Lake City; her mother-in-law Dolores Montes of Imlay, NV; and her siblings-in-law, Davie Compton of Porter, TX, Steven Montes (Teresa) of Imlay, NV and Russell Montes (Tammie) of Lovelock, NV. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
