He is survived by: his parents, Mark Montes and Lisa DeSart of Lanesboro; his siblings, Ruthie Montes of Lanesboro, Gracie Montes of Ames and Jackson Montes of Lanesboro; and his grandmother Dolores Montes of Imlay. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
