He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hunt and Anna Hunt (Peters); his wife Kay Hunt; his sons, Craig Edward and Gary Lee; and his sisters, Doreen Zacharias, Mildred Heuton and Lois Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Hunt (Diane Abbott) of Des Moines, IA and Darlene Wenck (Romayne) of Glidden, IA; his grandchildren, Angie Hunt (Ryan Pudenz), Melissa Davis (Mark), Cody Wenck (Jill), Becky Moweary (Chris), Colette Heidgerken (Bernie), Chance Wenck (Allison) and Brenda McCoy (Tony); his brother John Hunt of Churdan, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Rich Ryan of Omaha, NE and Randy Remsburg (Marlene) of Audubon, IA. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
