He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Gibbs and Ethel Gibbs (Mohr); his brother Alan Gibbs; and his brother-in-law Alfred Hotchkiss. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Lincoln of Lamont; his daughters, Tessa Hansel (Travis Jaster) of Strawberry Point and Tracy Long (Dennis) of Wilmington; his granddaughters, Lindsey Barton (Brandon), Hanna Hansel, Kylah and Siera Long; his great grandchild Ronin Barton; his siblings, Susy Hotchkiss of Lamont, Janice Langel (Dan) of Dundee, Tim Gibbs (Barb) of Peoria, Tom Gibbs (Becky) of Dundee and Scott Gibbs (Elaine) of Dundee; and his sister-in-law Rosie Gibbs of Independence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Leonard-Muller Funeral Home (1500 N Franklin St, Manchester, IA 52057). Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
