He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. and Vernita Faust (Opperman); his wife Lois Staebler; his son Doug Faust; his parents-in-law, Joe Staebler and Blanche Staebler (Bolsinger); his sisters, Lillian Satterlee (Faust) and Dorothy Faust; his brothers-in-law, Charles Williams, Don Hilby and Ira Voshell; and his children-in-law, Linda Faust and Mike Bernard.
He is survived by: his former wife Edna Bell Sutton; his children, Steven Faust of Independence and Joanne Bernard of Independence; his stepchildren, Clyde Palmer (Sue) of Earlville, Lynn Palmer (Dacari) of Winthrop, Joe Harry (Holly) of Keosauqua, Jeff Heins (Sandra) of Lamont, Donna Bandy (Royce) of Manchester and Karen Hepker (David) of Delhi; his daughter-in-law Marcia Faust (Holst) of Independence; and his siblings, Kenneth Faust (Faye) of Strawberry Point, Carolyn Strauss (Steve) of Tannyville, Missouri, Mary Hilby of Manchester, Marilyn Voshell of Strawberry Point and Janice Larson (Wayne) of Fayette. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, with two great-grandchildren.
