She is survived by: her husband Carl Bernahl of Lamoni, Iowa; her son Elly Nunez of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandchildren, Evellyn of Des Moines and Joaquin Nunez of Des Moines; and her niece Annette Scott Jacobs. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
