She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eugene Wilder and Mae Catherine Wilder Gates (Mitchell); her stepfather George D. Gates; her husband R. Wayne Jackel; her siblings, Dorothy Wilder Romig and James Wilder; and her daughter-in-law Marsha Jackel.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Jackel Sherman of Lamoni, Richard Jackel of Lamoni, Stephen Jackel of Lamoni and Donald Jackel (Elizabeth Anne) of Independence, Missouri.; her grandchildren, David (Melanie Jackel), Brian Jackel, Peter (Terrilee Jackel), Chelsey Jackel, Sam Jackel, Rebecca Sherman-Clark (Jeffrey Clark) and Michael Jackel; and her great grandchildren, Loralei, Owen Jackel, Jacob, Annabelle Crozier, Ciera Jackel, Trey, Tyler Jackel and Christian Kipruto Biwott.
