It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Ruth McGuire of Lamoni, Iowa, born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Theron and Florence Philomena McGuire (Voit); her son Kevin; her siblings, William, Donald, Leonard, Mark, Patrick, Edward, Luke, David, Richard McGuire, Helen Bockenstedt and Ann Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Bockenstedt, Harold Reit, Ruth McGuire, Verena McGuire, Cecelia McGuire and Dorothy McGuire.

She is survived by: her husband Carl McGuire of Lamoni, IA; her children, Bryan Doyle of Mankato, MN, Julie (Joshua Kraling), Keith, Melanie Doyle of Phoenix, AZ, William (Megan Doyle) and Angela (Stephen Kristiansen); her grandchildren, Erin, Emily, Avery, Mackenzie, Hannah, Macey, Andrew, McKayla, Izabel, Kelten and Maya; her great grandchildren, Emma, Ethan and Jack; her stepchildren, John, Linda McGuire of Papillion, NE, Steve McGuire of Palos Verdes, CA and Leslie Niebauer; her stepgrandchildren, Haley, Sam, Joseph T., Derek, Shoalie, Jesse and Hosah; her siblings, Michael (Debbie McGuire) and Mary Reit of Ankeny, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Thompson, Carol McGuire, Diane McGuire and Rosa Lee McGuire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
