With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doyle Edwin Waugh of Lamoni, Iowa, who passed away on April 2, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Carl and Carrie Treva Waugh (Wells); his parents-in-law, Bob and Lela Jones; and his former spouses, James, Emily Waugh and Wanda.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Jones; his children, Danny Edwin (Kris) of Jewell, Iowa and Brenda McLaughlin (Jim) of Olathe, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Denyse Scott (Kyle) of Osceola, Iowa; his grandchildren, Clint, Teela Waugh of Decatur, Clay Waugh of Leon, Miranda Waugh (Ethan McGill) of Osceola, Emily Waugh of Jewell, Colin McLaughlin of Kansas City and William McLaughlin of Olathe; his great grandchildren, Mili, Beau and Boon Waugh; his sisters, Sandra Sibole (Eugene) of Des Moines and Marilyn Evans of Des Moines; and his siblings-in-law, Lorene Waugh of Norwalk, Janice Waugh of Detroit, Marlene Waugh of Ankeny, Carol Shields of Lamoni and Bill Jones (Sharon) of Lamoni. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Lamoni Alumni Association Scholarship Fund in Doyle's memory.
