He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bierle and Alice Bierle (Murray); his wife Lucille Harmon; his sons, Jim and Jonathan; his grandson Trent Bierle; and his siblings, Ralph, Russell Bierle, Richard Bierle, Roy Bierle, Ersel Bernhard, Viola Dacken, June Bierstedt, Luella Palmer, Clara Koryn and Norma Bormann.
He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Klaus; his children, Keith Bierle (Maurine) of Mesa, AZ, Joyce Heitland (Tim) of Buffalo Center and Julie Wallace (Tom) of Marion; his daughters-in-law, Lorie Bierle of Buffalo Center and JoAnn Bierle of Arkansas City, KS; his stepchildren, Beth Klaus (Linda), Jon Klaus (Janice), Mark Klaus (Marsha) and Mike Klaus; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Bierle and Lillian Matern. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
