David Winter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Winter of Lakota, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Winter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Winter and Edna Winter (Estle); his brothers, Donald and James Winter; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Schroeder and Herman Evers.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Winter of Lakota; his daughters, Ronda Gray (Kevin) of Titonka, Brenda Winter of Clear Lake and Paula Spilman (Dennis) of Garner; his great grandchildren, Kristy Brunsvold (late Chris), Kurt Gray and Teresa Lee; his sisters, Barb Schroeder of Bancroft and Carol Evers of Lakota; his sister-in-law Eleanor Winter; and also, Bode, Tucker, Emma, Caden, McKenzie, Aspyn, Baker, Oakley, Brett Winter, Amber Winter, Emily Albertson (Turner), Macey Spilman (Ryan Meyers) and Bradey Spilman. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (409 Brewer St, Lakota, IA 50451). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
