She is survived by: her husband Harlan Melz of Lakota, IA; her sons, Randy Melz (Jill) of Buffalo Center, Brandon Melz (Wendy) of Excelsior, MN and Carey Melz (Colleen) of Lakeville, MN; her grandchildren, Noah, Kendall Melz, Bailey, Jordan, Kylie, Regan Melz, Connor, Carter and Caitlyn Melz; her siblings, Janell Heidecker (Ivan), Terry Heitland and Patricia Dontje; and her sister-in-law Adelia Heitland Opal Melz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
