He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Noess (Merlen) of Sac City, IA, Marsha Kephart (Michael) of Carlisle, IA, Duane Petersen of Lake View, IA and Becky Venneman of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Heather Herzog (Thomas), Jennifer Richardson, Owen Richardson, Eric Noess, Amy Noess, Kyle Kephart (Alexis), Marissa Vance (Ben) and Megan Venneman; his great grandchildren, Emersyn Herzog, Aria Richardson, Connor Noess, Analisea and Simon Patterson; his brothers, Alton Petersen, Gary Petersen, Steven Petersen (Linda) and Dale Petersen (Ann) of Sergeant Bluff, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Petersen of Urbandale, IA, Charlotte Tripp (Gerald) of Schaller, IA and William Clausen (Joan) of Lake View, IA. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
