James Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2022, at the age of 87, James Long of Lake View, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven J. Long and Winifred I. Sagstuen Long (Sagstuen); his daughter Susan Tracy Mueller; his son-in-law Kenneth Edmund Mueller; his brothers, Richard Dale Long and Leland Sagstuen Long; and also, Darlean Bremer Long and Phyllis Hartman Long.
He is survived by: his son Fred; his wife Lois E. Manuel; his children, Linda Pierce (C. P.) and Fredrick Long (Kristina); his grandchildren, Eric Mueller, Kenneth Mueller (Katie), Katelyn Mueller-Hammers (Mark), Justin Pierce (Erika), Rachel Pierce-Hootman (Jesse), Hannah Long, Nathanael Long, Gabby Long (Micah Peñalva), Samuel Long and David Long; and his great grandchild Gracie Sue Mueller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Jim and the family will gift to the East Sac County FFA Program and the Lake View Historical Society, both of which Jim was very involved.
