He is survived by: his children, Joshua Ackerman of Sac City, IA, Jeremia Sr. Ackerman (Jenny Kingery) of Newell, IA and Carrie Ackerman of Lytton, IA; his grandchildren, Kenton Ackerman, Sophie Ackerman and Jeremia Jr.; his father Gene Ackerman (Joyce) of Spirit Lake, IA; and his siblings, David Ackerman (Lorraine) of Canon, SD, Dan Ackerman (Marlene) of Sac City, IA, Jerald Ackerman of Dayton, OH, Troy Ackerman (Charlene) of Spirit Lake, IA, Michelle Drenth (Del) of Woodbine, IA and Jan Simonsen of Mason City, IA. He is also survived by husband, father and grandfather.
