He is survived by: his wife Nancy Drost of Lake View, IA; his children, Scott Spanjer (Dayna Crandell) of Early, IA, Brian Spanjer (Cheri) of Council Bluffs, IA, Andy Spanjer of Lake View, IA, Eric Spanjer (Karri) of Sheldon, IA, Dana Drost (Julia) of Lake View, IA, Denice Whipkey (Troy) of Lake City, IA and Debbie Rehorst (David) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sisters, Joanne Dusatko (Tony) of Omaha, NE and Janis Myott of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren.
