He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Boeckman and Helena Boeckman (Yohnke); his wife Pat Boeckman; his great grandchild Ethan Nissen; his parents-in-law, Emmet and Helen Dirkx; his siblings, Mike Boeckman, Gabe Boeckman (Jean), Joseph Boeckman, Donna Mae Boeckman, Mary Sue Boeckman and Ruth Boeckman; and his brothers-in-law, Cletus Dirkx, Kenneth Dirkx (Sheri) and Wilber Wiederin.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Boeckman (Sandy) of Lake View, IA, Mary Boeckman of Lake View, IA and Dale Boeckman (Christy) of Lake View, IA; his grandchildren, Heather Boeckman of Sac City, IA, Andy Boeckman (Brook) of Sac City, IA, Josh Hanke (Ashley) of Schleswig, IA, Jenna Frank (Jerrid) of Breda, IA, Nathan Boeckman (Crissy) of Lake View, IA, Ally Leners (Kyle) of Lake View, IA and Caitlyn Hecht (Brian) of Lytton, IA; his great grandchildren, Samantha Nissen, Haylee Nissen, Brooklyn Ronda (Javi), Brianna, Brody, Evan, Brynn Boeckman, Peyton Hanke, Jaylee, Jori Frank, Logan Riedell, Lexi, Lily, Elle Boeckman, Avery, Abigail, Adilynn Leners, Eastynn, Blake, Kacen and Chase Hecht; and his siblings, Morris Boeckman, Ione Schreck (Jim), Ray Boeckman, Agnes Wiederin, Marie Loew, Veronica Hanson (Norm), Pat Havermann (Louie) and Paul Boeckman (Cheri).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 5th St, Wall Lake, IA 51466). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
