It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Clausen of Lake View, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Strait and Hannah Strait (Olson); her husband Elvin Clausen; her son Elvin Junior; her siblings, Leonard, LaVerne Strait and Esther Koeppen; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Thompson, Edwin Clausen, Herb Koeppen, Elvera Thompson, Adela Strait and Martha Strait.
She is survived by: her daughter Nila Houska (John) of Storm Lake, IA; and her sister-in-law Darlene Clausen of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
