She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carlson and Mabel Carlson (Anderson); her husband Wilmer Koessel; her son David Koessel; and her siblings, Richard Carlson, Harold Carlson, Mary Orness and Wilma Arndt.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Koessel (Judy Ellerbrock) of Lake View, IA, Meri Mohr (Dean) of Waukee, IA and Mike Koessel (Becky Eaton) of Bentonville, AR; her daughter-in-law Rajean Koessel (Nelson) of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, Christy Scroggin, Jason (Scott Mohr), Joshua Koessel and Karissa (Kristofer Koessel). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
