She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Nelsen and Lillie Nelsen (Christensen); her husband Dick; her son Dennis Stahly; and her siblings, Marjorie Hale, Ronald, Harold and Leland Nelsen.
She is survived by: her sons, David Stahly (Lori) of Lake Park and Douglas Stahly (Julie) of Lake Park; her grandchildren, Sarah Carpenter (Ryan), Lindsey Haynes (Nick), Lacey Reese-Hoogeterp (Adam), Lindsey Reese and Alexis Stahly (Austin Wassman); her siblings, Norma Dotson and Danny Nelsen (Mary); and her sister-in-law Carol Nelsen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home Lake Park (12 Beachcomber Dr, Lake Park, IA 51347). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (306 E 4th St, Lake Park, IA 51347). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Cemetery.
