He is survived by: his pet Roxie; his wife Casey; his children, Darwin Morfitt (Emlina) of Lake Park, Dustin Morfitt (Veronica) of Grand Island, Staci Smith of Sioux City and Chad Smith of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandsons, Jackson and Lance Moore; his sister Becky Smith of Milford, Iowa; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Brown and Jeff; and his grandmother Lynn Cobb (Bruce).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
