We bid farewell to William Walter Wachlin of Lake Mills, Iowa, born in Hayfield, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 72. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Reinhold Wachlin and Mattie Elizabeth Wachlin (Howden); his siblings, John Reinhold, Robert Lewis and Irene Marie Wachlin; and his niece Wendy Wachlin.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his sons, Shawn Wachlin of Lake Mills, IA, Dean Felt of Albert Lea, MN and Duane Felt (Lorraine) of Austin, MN; and his siblings, Jim Wachlin (Rhonda) of Biloxi, MS, Linda Spain of Albert Lea, Susan Nava of Albert Lea and Ruth Ann Wachlin of Albert Lea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
