Sharon Kay Anderson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Kay Anderson (Lake Mills, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Kay Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Geddes and Rose Geddes (Malek); her husband Gorden Anderson Sr.; her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Bruce Steele; her grandson Matthew Niles; her great grandchild Tobias Larson; her sisters, Kathy (Ellsworth Hanson) and Jane Geddes; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Haugen (Arthis), Bernard Flugum, Roger Hill and Martin Boomgarden.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Swenson (Kent), Gorden, Jr. Anderson (Denise), Geoffrey Anderson (Jodie) and Annette Larson (Brian); her grandchildren, Shanna Eastvold (Darin), Garrett Anderson (Sara), Jennifer Anderson, Alec Anderson (Kaitlyn), Rosemarie, Brooklyn and Andrew Larson; her great grandchildren, Derek, Avery, Regan Eastvold, Jakobe Anderson, Gavin, Sydney and Gemma Anderson; her nephews, Mark Haugen (Sandy) and Todd Hanson (Helen); her sister Sally Boomgarden; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene Flugum and Dorothy Hill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home (902 E Main St, Lake Mills, IA 50450).
