He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Pederson and Otto Pederson; and his siblings-in-law, Roylene Pederson, Jo Anne Klemp and Craig Theobald.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kim (Tom) of Excelsior, MN, Krisanne of Manhattan, NY and Jason (Torree) of Shawnee, KS.; his grandchildren, Claire, Grace Becker, Elle and Samuel Pederson; and his siblings, JoAnn Pederson of Des Moines, IA, Linda Thompson (Doug) of Albert Lea, MN and Wayne Pederson of Hoffman Estates, IL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, 232 2nd St. SE, Mason City, Iowa, 50401.
