He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Thompson of Slayton, MN; his children, Mitchell Thompson (Jolene), Jay Thompson (Michelle Evjen) and Nicole Thompson of Slayton, MN; his grandsons, Gunner Thompson, Wyatt and Tristan Thompson; and his siblings, Violet Loeschen (Lawrence) of Titonka, IA, Dennis Thompson of Thompson, IA, Doris Hatland of Lake Mills, IA and DeEtta Buns (Tim) of Wilmington, NC..
